Description
This is another record from my personal collection. From 1955 its the Elvis Presley SUN label number 217, and it comes with a Sun dust sleeve. Song titles are: "I'M LEFT, YOU'RE RIGHT, SHE'S GONE" and "BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE". I have'nt played this record for 20 to 25 years, because after I bought it, I played it just to listen to it and then I put it on display on my rec. room walls. I always had a juke box full of other records, including Elvis which I played. The record plays through, it does not skip or hang up etc. One side has black print or writing on one side, I think it may have been a name that someone crossed out before I bought it, and the other side is clear. Elvis had his first 5 45RPM records recorded on Sun label, and the first 4 Sun label records had the push marks clearly visable on the records, and not all of the 5th record number 223 had push marks. This record number 217 clearly has the 3 push marks which can be seen and felt. I am listing the record cheaper because the record is slightly warped. It is'nt bad, because it does not interfere with the playing. I know the needle arm does not jump up and down, it moves up and down slightly with each revolution of the record. Its hard to explain, I tryed to show in the last picture, where the vinyl is wavey on about half of the record. But again, I know the record plays through good. The trail off numbers are: U - 143 - 45 72 and U - 143 x- 45 - 2 72. I will gladly pack other record auctions of mine together for the postage amount of one.
