Hi All, for your consideration we have:

Title: FIFTH DIMENSION BY THE BYRDS

Cat No: SBPG 62783 - STEREO

Issue: 1966 on the ORANGE CBS Label (Matt flat and rough)

Vinyl Condition visual: The vinyl grades as EX; the vinyl has retained most of its gloss and sheen. The disc is clean and has minimal very light scratches and handling marks. Nothing too serious at all and all commensurate with age and with the grade allocated. It is a very presentable copy.

Vinyl Condition Playback: EX; Virtually silent run-in and thereafter it play’s back with minimal static and the very occasional mild click and pop. Overall fantastic sound reproduction and there is no lessening in sound quality what so ever. With or without headphones, this is an enjoyable listen. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays through with no skips or jumps.

Label Condition: EX+; as you can see in the photo rough textured with minimal spindle marks or other blemishes, and all the text is clear and legible.

Cover Front: VG; the laminated cover is in very good fettle, the lamination is super overall with just some gentle and minor creasing in a few places. Due to its mainly black front, it is prone to showing the rubbing and ring-wear as is the case here. Also there is rubbing and minor loss of laminate at all edges and corners. That said, it is still a wonderful cover to hold and look at.

Cover Back: VG+; essentially the back which is unlaminated and mainly white is clean and sharp. Minimal rubbing, however, there is some residue of sticker removal top right on the flip-back. Flip backs are secure and intact, although a little grubby at the corners.

Spine: VG; the spine is very thin and rounded off a bit, all the text is clear and legible. Some laminate loss at the corners.

Corners: G; all bumped, rounded off and there is colour loss to the laminate.

Opening Edge. Minor bumps and knocks from normal use and loss of laminate in places..

Summary: This is a superb album and is worth its weight for ‘Eight Miles High’ alone. It is a very nice example and one that would make a fab addition to any 60’s Beat – Rock collection.

Postage: With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me.
