Description
Hi All, the thinning out of my collection continues and I’ve sorted out a few more choice cuts in the collection for your consideration as well as a few ‘vinyl staples’ for the discerning new entrant to collecting. For your consideration we have:
Title: FOREVER CHANGES by LOVE
Cat No: EKL 4013– MONO
Issue: Original 1967 issue on the RED & BLACK ELEKTRA Label
Vinyl Condition visual: Visually, the vinyl grades as VG+; it has retained much of its gloss and some of its sheen. The surfaces to both sides are in VG+ condition with just a few light marks and a few very light scratches, however these are all non-feelable and pretty superficial and do not affect play.
Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as VG+ and nearly EX; almost silent at the run-in and thereafter very mild and low level audible static, and occasional clicks and pops during the playback, more evident when wearing headphones and less so when listening through speakers. That said it is still most enjoyable with headphones on. There are no skips or jumps and the vinyl lays flat on the turntable.
Label Condition: EX; fine examples, aside from some very and I mean very light spindle marks there is no other damage, writing or unwanted blemishes to the labels at all. The text is clear and legible on these lovely flat-matt labels.
Cover Front: The front of this laminated sleeve grades as EX+. Wonderful lamination with hardly any age related issues whatsoever. A very clean and unmarked cover (1 tiny yellow coloured dot – mid-way on the right) with vibrant colour and no notable issues at all. It’s a fab cover, no rips or tears and so far as I can see no hint of light ring-wear even when held to the light. I’ve not seen a better cover to this album to be honest.
Cover Back: EX; the laminated back is in superb condition as for the front. Clean with good colour, a little laminate lift near the spine due to air under the laminate and a slight bend at the top right corner. Hardly any wear at the opening edge.
Spine: EX; the spine is intact and has EX lamination; all the text is legible. Its retained a superb square shape and you can see the pinched corners.
Corners: VG+; some very mild knocks.
Summary: Another masterpiece of an album by a truly fab band. I have owned and cherished this album for some years now and as copies go, whilst not mint, it is a strong EX and it would enhance most collections.
Postage: With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no nonsense refund if you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course, which hopefully provides you with sufficient confidence to take a shot, and if you do, good luck.
