Description
THIS IS A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1973 UK ASYLUM STEREO ISSUE OF JUDEE SILL’S SECOND LP “HEARTFOOD” AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THIS LP SOLD POORLY AT THE TIME (THE LABEL DROPPED JUDEE AFTER THIS LP), SO IT IS CONSEQUENTLY HARD TO FIND IN ANYTHING APPROACHING THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is SYL 9006 on the UK ASYLUM label and is in Stereo.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS RARELY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in EXCELLENT condition for its age and type (see pictures)! It has NO wear to the spine. The opening edges are straight with ONLY THE SLIGHTEST edgewear. There are NO thumb creases.
On the front cover the laminate immediately to the right of the spine, although still in place, has come away VERY slightly from the cardboard in places for the length of the spine. There is SLIGHT wear to the EXTREME top right corner of the front cover. The top edge of the front cover has a vertical 3cm crease 6cm from the top right corner, a 1cm vertical crease 9cm from the top right corner and a 1cm vertical crease 2cm from the top left corner. There is a LIGHT 7cm diagonal crease to the top right corner. There are two VERY LIGHT 0.75 cm vertical creases at the bottom edge of the front cover. There is GENERAL LIGHT rubbing to the front cover, giving a CLEARLY NOTICEABLE dotted effect (see picture). There is VERY SLIGHT ringwear, and NO writing.
There is MINIMAL wear to the EXTREME corners of the back cover. There is a VERY LIGHT vertical 1cm crease from the top edge of the back cover (hard to see unless you look carefully) 12cm from the top right corner. There are two VERY LIGHT vertical 1cm creases from the bottom edge of the back cover (hard to see unless you look carefully). There is GENERAL LIGHT rubbing to the back cover, giving a VERY SLIGHT dotted effect (see picture). Apart from that, there are NO blemishes at all to the back cover – it essentially retains MOST of its initial glossy look. The cover looks OUTSTANDING FOR ITS AGE!
THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE AND LEGENDARY UK LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!
I TRY TO MAKE MY DESCRIPTIONS OF THE CONDITION OF ITEMS VERY PRECISE.
SEE FEEDBACK FROM MY RECENT BUYERS AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
