Description
Hi All, the thinning out of my collection continues and I’ve sorted out a few more choice cuts in the collection for your consideration as well as a few ‘vinyl staples’ for the discerning new entrant to collecting. For your consideration we have:
Title: THE MOVE by THE MOVE
Cat No: LRZ 1002 – MONO
Issue: Original 1967 issue on the REGAL ZONOPHONE Label
Vinyl Condition visual: Visually, the vinyl grades as VG+; it has retained some of its gloss and a little of its sheen. The surfaces to both sides have a few light marks and a few very light scratches, however these are all non-feelable and pretty superficial and do not affect play.
Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as VG; some light audible static, clicks and pops during the playback, a little more obvious at the run-in/out to both sides and between tracks, however, this is more evident when wearing headphones and less so when listening through speakers; nothing too drastic at all and all being commensurate with age and grade. There are no skips or jumps and the vinyl lays flat on the turntable.
Label Condition: EX; fine examples, aside from some very and I mean very light spindle marks there is no other damage, writing or unwanted blemishes to the labels at all. The text is clear and legible on these lovely flat-matt labels.
Cover Front: The front of this laminated sleeve grades as VG. This is a very delicate cover due to the relatively thin cardboard used. This copy is has good lamination cover but there are numerous creases in the laminate and a few very mild folds. Some dings at the open edge and ring-wear is evident. Despite the description, once again, I’ve not seen too many better to be honest as it is quite elusive to find.
Cover Back: VG; the laminated back is in VG condition overall, again some creases in the laminate and the ring-wear is more evident on the back. All the flip-backs are in good solid condition.
Spine: VG; the spine is intact and has good lamination; all the text is legible and its retained a decent square shape, a bit of feathering at the edge.
Corners: VG; some very mild knocks to all corners.
Summary: Pretty elusive, and a sheer fab album by a truly fab band. I have owned and cherished this album for some years now and as copies go, whilst not mint, it is a strong VG and would enhance most collections.
Postage: With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no nonsense refund if you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course, which hopefully provides you with sufficient confidence to take a shot, and if you do, good luck.
Payment: Most unusually I have had a few non-payers recently; therefore, please only bid if you intend paying for the item in 7 day’s. Much appreciated.
