Description
I have a section in my collection that is 'white label unknowns',that cover most styles of music.I put together my collection in the early 80's,so am confident that rare items are not 'tribute' issues.Imagine my suprise,& delight,when i managed to identify a disc that i have had for 25 years.The Fools Dance label was an enterprise of Robert Smith from the Cure,& Simon Gallup is reputed to have played on this ultra rare 45.It is a split 45 with THE OBTAINERS/MAG SPYS sharing 1 side each.THE OBTAINERS perform very much diy tunes 'Yeh,Yeh,Yeh'/'Pussy Wussy',with MAG SPYS having the more punkier 'Lifeblood'/'Bombs'.It appears that only 100 copies of this 45 were pressed with an original selling price of 50p.Well,i doubt if you can pick this item up for the same price now.Some copies have a white sticky labels depicting a pushbike of sorts,but mine has RED versions.The dead wax has Strawberry machine stamped,with 'Glitch' & 'Boling Over' etched in.Most copies have a variety of inserts/stickers,unfortunatly mine does not.I have put a sensible reserve on this item because of its scarcity.Item has some light surface marks but still a strong vg+++.
