Description
MIKE MAKHALEMELE - Walking Spirit
Original South African AFRO JAZZ LP
This copy of this record spent most of it's life in a South African township (Mdantsane) and was probably enjoyed in the shebeens and around the fire on many occasions. The record itself is in VG+ condition and is wonderful to listen to. The sleeve has quite a bit of wear around the edges but is still largely intact (please see photo's). Making the album even more 'authentic' is the rubber stamp on the back with the owners name and township address and on the label.
Produced by the legendary Julian Laxton
Executive Producer : Patrick van Blerk
Engineered by Greg Cutler
Recorded at Satbel Studios in Johannesburg in 1977
