Description
Up for sale now is a 4 LP vinyl BOX SET of JRR Tolkien's "The Hobbit", read by Nicol Williamson, perhaps best known as the English actor who played Merlin in the King Arthur movie "Excalibur". The box itself is in good shape except for split at bottom (see photo). It appears maybe something was stored on top of the box?
Inside the box is the ORIGINAL 8 page BOOKLET with a classic photo of Tolkien in repose and a great essay on the author and the book.
Each of the 4 LPs appear to be in good shape in original sleeve, but I don’t have a record player to test them out.
