Description
up for auction on this go-around is the excellent 3rd LP by the great xian psych band Wilson McKinley! This ORIGINAL copy is entitled "Wilson McKinley- Heavens Gonnabe A Blast!" & as for the grading, I'll go VG+ (on the cover, with seamsplits on top and bottom and general wear all the way 'round the edges..only the slightest bit of ringwear and small bend on right corner).. The record is a strong VG++(with small hairlines and paper scuffs but plays like an EX...all day..once again a black marker wrote $2.98 on the yellow label of side 2 <29006>!)..So VG+/VG++ (Cover/Record)..As for their sound on this LP, it's pretty much the same as their 2nd album..This one might be a little more folkish/west coast country rock but once again, like the last one, pretty much every song is awesome..This one's not quite as psychy as the last LP but believe me it DOES have it's moments (along with some of their best cuts...EVER)..Overall, the production on Heaven's Gonnabe A Blast is a little better than Spirit Of Elijah (but don't worry, it still has that homemade-ish/amateur *feel*...).. But anyway, thanx for dropping by and good luck bidding on this super rare Private Press (which has all but pretty much disappeared, these days!) : )
