Description
I'm listing a few high-dollar jazz LPs from my purchases over the last couple years. Non-standard, but I am starting the bidding at or near the price I paid for the album, with the goal of selling them for what I originally paid.
ORNETTE COLEMAN Atlantic 1317 The Shape of Jazz to Come SEALED
Vinyl: Sealed. Assumed first Swirl label pressing or an extremely early pressing.
Jacket: Factory Sealed in loose bag with printed perforation instruction. Jacket inside is in fantastic shape, corners appear totally intact, seams and spine perfect. Jacket is a super heavy, thick, glossy construction, consistent with the earliest pressing of this record.
I have not dared to open this, and thought I'd see if another collector would like the opportunity to do so.
I can't take returns on this LP if the outer packaging is opened.

I am selling from my personal collection. Where I have play-grade notes, I will include them. Otherwise, please assume a visual grade.
Grading Notes (borrowed largely from Carolina Soul)
- Sealed Jacket sealed shut in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is".
- NM Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches.
- EX May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.
- VG+ A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.
- VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
- VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
- G Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
