Jim O'Rourke's tribute album, All Kinds of People Love Burt Bacharach, sincerely honours the pop composer's five-decade legacy, celebrated by legends as diverse as Brian Wilson, Stan Getz, and Dr. Dre. Initially, O'Rourke's project seemed an odd match given his tenure with Sonic Youth, but his appreciation for McCartney hinted at a playful side.
