Orquestra Esencia -- Fuerza Positiva

This is rare and sought after Salsa from the Bay Area. Jazzman comped two of the tracks a little while back ("Carnaval" and "Esencia" -- see sound clips below from the record for sale). Carnaval has a great Salsa/Batucada crossover sound and "Esencia" is hard and jazzy. This is a solid copy that has some of its original sheen. There are some surface scratches and light clicks during some passages, but both "Carnaval" and "Esencia" play great. There is a faint paint splotch "Me Hizo Renacer," which causes a slight fuzzy sound for part of the song. The cover has a paint splotch as well and dirt stains. The spine is cracked.

As always, albums are shipped in heavy cardboard record sleeves. I'm a collector, so I take care and grade conservatively. Please don't pay until I send you an invoice. I'll be posting some Latin, Brazilian and other tropical bits this week, so check out my other items
