Description
Top rare Os Mutantes single pressed in Argentina in 1969. Great copy.
Both cuts were taken from their 1st album. Bat Macumba, is a totally druggy piece, with odd fuzz-guitar effects, tribal chorus, and funky afro beat rhythm (it was compiled on Nuggets II, Original Artyfacts from the British Empire and Beyond, 1964-1969, Rhino Records).
While the flipside entitled Ave Genghis Khan, starts with a surge of energy, propelled by a swirling organ, and frenzied fuzz-guitar lines.
As usual in this part of the world, record spins at 33.
