Description
OS SELVAGENS s/t (Caravelle) Brazil 1968
Insanely rare Brazilian teen garage LP with a number of cover versions, including a screaming English version of The Animals we gotta get out of this place. Featured in Hans Pokora's Record Collectors Dream in the Brazil section and rated as a 4 in value/rarity, almost never available for sale.
Grading Cover: The cover is a one fold paper that has held up nicely over time. There are a few very small chips in the top layer on the front cover (visible in the pic). There are no tears or pen marks. The fold is still relatively solid. 8.5 out of 10 or STRONG VG+ to EX Disc: This is a very heavy pressing and has been taken good care of. There is a little bit of light scuffing and hairline type marks. Like many vintage Brazilian pressings there is a light surface noise. It is not loud at all, mostly noticeable between tracks and during quieter parts (which there aren't many). This is a loud rock record so the surface noise is not a problem. I haven't tried to clean the record because it sounds amazing!!! 7 out of 10 or VG+
