David Oistrakh once saluted Oscar Shumsky as “one of America’s great violinists”. Shumsky was a student of the great teacher Leopold Auer. He also taught at the prestigious Julliard School for many years. His superb performance of these important and demanding works for the violin support his fame. Records are in NM (unplayed) condition, EXCEPT on Side 1, Track 1 [grave- fuge] there's a possible sleeve scrape- seems to be not not deep and should not affect playback. Box with 4 page booklet. [Box has light wear to upper top front as shown in photo] sides are intact; unbroken
