Description
OTIS REDDING Blue / Sings Soul 180g Vinyl 45rpm Analogue Prod. 2LP Test Pressing
Otis Redding - Otis Blue/Sings Soul (Analogue Productions)
2015 180-gram test pressing of audiophile 2LP set. Discs play at 45rpm. Plain labels on sides one and three have sticker with date of production (10-28-2015), catalog number (AAPP 092-45), side delineations, artist name, and title printed on it. Generic QRP test pressing labels on sides two and four. Includes generic white covers with information sticker at top right corner on front.
This is a test pressing made from an earlier lacquer, which had to be re-cut before release. On the released version the matrix etchings are slightly different (the original has a strikethrough and addendum on all four sides). Also, the released version was pressed on 200g vinyl and this test pressing is 180g. In 2024 Analogue Productions reissued a 180g variant, but that was ten years after this test pressing was made. Whether it differs sonically from the released versions is unknown.Condition: Discs M-, Covers M-
Important notes about our grading:
We grade conservatively, accurately and honestly. S/S, M, M- (NM), VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, WBR (Poor). We do not use EX (many dealers' EX would be our VG).
