Description

A fabulous find for treasure hunter record collectors. Store- like stock 45 records, in primo, promo condition. DJ copies, rarely if at all played. I will be putting up a few each week, so stand by to see which obscure teen, pop or soul sound comes up from the 50s to early 60s. These are hard to find promos by artist who hoped to make it, had the look, had the sound, maybe the promotion, but didn’t make the big time. Not then, but if they only knew now, we want them.!! This stash of gold has lied dormant for over 43 years. Only one of each, so don’t let the one you want get away.

Hello Blues fans. Blues popular in 1962, not. Look at the label, Duke, 356, same as the master, Bobby Blue Bland. Otis Rush blues it out on "I have to laugh". Can you dig the organ and guitar backing him up? Some non-consequential background noise toward the end. Otis can’t do his HOMEWORK, anymore, on the plug side. You will not believe the blowin’ sax that backs up this great track. LISTEN to the combo of both sides.  DJ promo for your collection.

Just a preview folks of some of the rarities I’ll be listing in the weeks to come.

Ronnie Putirka; Nolan Strong; Baby Jane & the Rockabyes; Crystalettes;  Look now for Otis Reddings' first hit on VOLT. The Legends, Ermine 43; Chuck Baker, Everest 2019; Myrna March Roulette 4463; Johnny Cooper, Ermine 42; The Rollers, Bel-Star;  Jimmy Jay, Philips; whoa ho, rare record lovers, Johnny Greco and Rocket Ride, Pageant, 602. and when the time is right, David Box on Joed, 1961, yep 717
