This is a radio library promo copy of The Outlaw Blues Band's first LP release in late 1968. Bluesway was a subsidiary of ABC, so as far as promotion, it had a major label's weight behind the release. The band toured nationally on this and their second LP. The band was proficient enough but simply got lost amongst the 100's of new bands that released an LP in 1968. It contains some interestingly titled songs including "Tried To Be A Good Boy (But I'm Worse Than A Nazi)" and Death Dog of Doom".
As I said in the description above, the LP was a radio station library copy from WSAY located in Rochester, NY. Some radio station employee went crazy with the station ink stamp (WSAY call letters and the arrival date are on the outside cover, inside the gatefold and on both sides of the label !!!
Stored vertically in a smoke-free environment for 51 years.
