Beginning as one of rock's all-time great (and influential) blues-rock bands, the Yardbirds had taken a turn toward the psychedelic side of things once Jeff Beck replaced Eric Clapton, as evidenced by 1966's Over Under Sideways Down. As with Beatles and Rolling Stones albums from around this era, the U.K. and U.S. versions would often differ with album titles and altered track listings, and as a result, quite a few tracks slipped through the cracks. The same was true of the Yardbirds. But the 2002 Repertoire reissue of Over Under Sideways Down finally compiles all the tracks from this era on one single disc — the end result being 22 tracks of the Yardbirds at their creative peak. For anyone who was wondering if Beck could truly fill in for Clapton, he was silenced by the playful "Jeff's Boogie," which shows the guitarist was one of the more technically proficient blues-rock players of the time, as well as lending a gloriously Middle Eastern riff to the trippy title track. But the 2002 edition improves the classic original even further, as it includes selections from the Yardbirds' short-lived Jeff Beck-Jimmy Page lineup: "Happenings Ten Years Ago" and one of the group's most underrated tracks, "Psycho Daisies." ........

AND, LASTLY, PLEASE DO REMEMBER SOUND QUALITY IS AFFECTED BY WHAT THE VINYL IS PLAYED ON!!!

PLEASE VISIT MY EBAY STORE FOR OTHER RARE AND COLLECTABLE VINYL

GRADING & POLICIES: ALL RECORDS ARE VISUALLY GRADED AND INDICATE STATE OF VINYL (COVER NOTED SEPARATELY). IF I'VE LISTENED TO THE LP IT WILL BE NOTED. The following is a general overview about grades, subject to any above notations: MINT indicates pristine vinyl without any marks on surface. MINT MINUS may contain a few very light surface marks from play or sleeve wear under light. If you are a real collector, you'll know that even a factory sealed LP occasionally has some light sleeve or rub marks. Anything in the VG category would contain more than two surface marks or have some other visible signs of ring or hole wear. Rarely do I offer something in the "G" state. If I do, it's usually a rare LP and priced accordingly. Values are assigned according to market availability and rarity, not a price guide.

YOUR SATISFACTION: Your positive feedback and excellent seller rating of 5 in each category is very important to me. I try to give as much detail as possible about appearance and condition. Should your purchase not meet your expectations please contact me before leaving feedback and detailed seller rating. YOUR SATISFACTION IS OF PRIME IMPORTANCE TO ME. Do you know how the Ebay Seller Ratings System works? Did you know that even a 4 rating is a bad rating for a seller? With most rating systems of 1 to 5(highest), you would expect a "4" to be a very good rating and a "5" to be an excellent/highest rating. You purchase an item on Ebay and the product, service, communications or fees were very good but not great. You give the seller all 4's thinking this is very good.(Most rating systems equate 1=lowest, 2=fair, 3=good, 4=very good, 5=highest). Unfortunately this is not how it works on EBAY as of May 2008. ONLY A "5" IS A GOOD RATING. The lowest acceptable average for each category is 4.6; below that a seller receives a "NEEDS WORK" and their standings in the listings are lowered. SURPRISING BUT TRUE AND SEEMINGLY UNFAIR. PAYPAL ONLY ACCEPTED AND SHOULD BE MADE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SALE END SINCE WE SHIP IN A TIMELY MANNER. (IF YOU BID ON SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR IT).
