Easy to Write that a record is VG or VG+....difficult to grade each track separately....That is why I enter in such details in order to avoid complaints....OVERALL THIS IS A NICER LP that most of the Originals that Popsike shows!

ONE OF THE MOST LOOKING AFTER LATIN SOUL/BOOGALOO LPs EVER!....THOSE LATIN CLASSICS THAT SOME MAJOR LABELS LIKE MGM, KAPP, DECCA, MERCURY DECIDED TO PRESS ARE NOW COLLECTOR's ITEMS...THOSE GREAT LABELS (DUE TO THE THOUSAND OF RECORDINGS THEY ISSUED YEARLY WERE NOT INTERTESTED IN GIVING AWAY TOO MUCH $$$ FOR RADIO AIRWAVES AND WERE NOT INTERESTED IN REISSUING!!) WEB REMARKS:....Monster Latin jazz and boogaloo – all the way through! The album's a rare gem from the short-lived Latin Soul years on Decca – cut by Ozzie Torrens, and featuring a great Latin lineup that includes Louie Ramirez on vibes, Charlie Palmieri on piano, and Manny Duran on trumpet – all swinging in very soulful formation, and going for the stripped-down small combo sound that the Spanish Harlem kids were using on the indie labels at the time! The tracks are all instrumentals – with heavy duty playing all the way through, and loads of rhythmic tracks that are peppered with some sock-solid jazzy solo work! The whole thing's a swinger – and titles include "Ozzaboo", "Boogaloo In Apt 41", "Way Out Mambo", "Cool Jerk", "Mia's Boogaloo", and "Tijuana Grass".

Please ask any questions before purchase. I am not a professional grader, but do my best to follow the system below. If you have any questions please ask and I will answer usually within 24 hours. If for some reason you are not satisfied with my grading please contact me (813-472-9660 or via Email, Ebay) before leaving feedback to see if we can resolve. I do my best and often time under grade items to ensure satisfaction upon receipt; however, there is a possibility that something could slip by.

Grading Scale used is by Record (LP) Grading and is as followed: A NEW EBAY PROCEDURE REQUEST THE BUYER TO 1st NOTIFY/COMMUNICATE THE SELLER OF A POSSIBLE DISPUTE OVER THE ITEM SOLD!

Vinyl Grading:

Still Sealed (SS):  Sealed at factory and never opened. Disc is assumed to be undamaged and mint, but this cannot be proven until the album is actually opened and the disc examined.

Near Mint (NM):  This is highest grade assigned to opened, handled records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++):  Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

Very Good Plus (VG+):  Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.

Very Good (VG):  Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole. It Will Be Sold As Is

Good (G):  Well-played, dull, grayish vinyl with deeper scratches and wear causing distracting surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks and other nasties). The record will still play through without any skips. Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.

Cover/Picture Sleeve Grading:

Still Sealed (SS):  Album is still in the factory-applied shrink-wrapping.

Mint (M):  Absolutely perfect; no corner dings, marks, tears, dents, impressions from the disc, or other flaws. Cover should appear as if a record has never been inside.

Near Mint (NM):  Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible. If There Are Any Drill Hole, tyny SawCut or Diagonal Cut They Will Be fully Described!

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++):  Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+):  Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying.

Very Good (VG):  Covers are worn and used. Seams may be starting to split or may have been unobtrusively repaired with clear tape or clear glue. (There is moderate ringwear, but the artwork is still attractive. There may be yellowing or discoloration and there may be larger writing, labels, or marks. Corners may have damage or creases and there may be scratches or gouges that otherwise damage the artwork.

Good (G):  Several (but not all of the following flaws will apply: Seam splits, large marker writing, major seam splits, significant ring wear, damaged corners, tears, cuts, gouges, masking or duct tape seam repairs, or other flaws and damage. Again, probably only useful to fill a collection niche until something better can be found.
