Description
This 12" vinyl double album was released by Ozzy Osbourne as a tribute to the untimely death of his guitarist, Randy Rhoads.
It features a selection of heavy metal and hard rock hits from Ozzy's band (and some from when he sang for Black Sabbath), in the 1970s and 1980s. Released as a double album on the Epic record label, this limited edition release also comes with a fold-out full colour poster (as pictured). Most of the tracks featured were recorded live at a gig in Cleveland, Ohio on May 11, 1981.
The vinyl plays very well on my equipment. They are no jumps or scratches, but there are some clips and that can be heard from time to time, particularly on the final track, 'Dee', which is very quiet as it is a type of instrumental track with Randy singing and playing his guitar). There are some minor surface marks on the vinyl.
The inner sleeves are also in great condition, but note that at the top, (see picture 1), that the edge on both sides has become very slightly partially unstuck and creased - it's literally the top 1cm that is affected. Study photo 1 to see what I mean.
The outer card sleeve is in superb condition too, with the original sticker still in place. Very minor handling marks just visible on the corners. (Note that it is NOT the 'gatefold' sleeve version).
The poster is in superb condition and has never been displayed.
