From my own collection that I'm down-sizing . . .
This is the third Oasis album that I bought on release in 1997 and has been with me ever since. I also got the CD to listen to in the car so apart from checking that the vinyl was okay and playing it a couple of times when I got it, it's been sat on shelving ever since.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. There are a couple of slight creases on the rear that look like they were from folding in the manufacture and can be seen if you look closely at the spine and the rear cover. However if you just picked it up you'd think it was new.
The inner sleeve are thick cardboard and look like new.
The vinyl looks shiny and new. On Side B there's a touch of surface rubbing from sleeve removal but it's not audible. The matrix numbers which confirm the first pressing are: A-4-1-1 B-3-1-1 C-3-1-1 D-3-1-1
I've just checked short sections of each side using a Pro-ject deck and both discs play well except there is a bit of the usual vinyl crackle on the lead-in and first few seconds of each side of vinyl.
Will be carefully wrapped and posted securely in an oversize box to ensure no damage in transit.
