Do not underestimate the rarity of this record! Test pressings are printed in minimal numbers, and this is a test pressing of the first of three singles from the 2003 album 'North Atlantic Drift', and was released on 30th June 2003, and got to number thirteen in the UK charts, and the highest charting single since 'Profit In Peace' in 1999.
Format: 7” black vinyl record in thin delicate white sleeve. The tracks featured replicate the final single with both tracks 'I Just Need Myself' / 'I Wanna See The Bright Lights'
Matrix: SANSE 159 A-1 (etched) / SANSE 159 B-1 (etched). I can confirm that this is an exact match of the final released version.
Condition: This is a really rare single, and due to the rarity felt compelled to offer to an OCS fan.
Outer die-cut sleeve: the outer thin paper die-cut bag is graded as very good plus (+) condition, due to minimal creasing from storage, and to be frank easily replaced as very much a 'generic' sleeve.
Vinyl playback: the record is harshly graded sonically as excellent condition, and plays the loud, dynamic tracks well on both sides with minor background noise.
Record visual grading: record is harshly graded visually as very good plus (+) condition, with a nice glossy surface and minimal if any hairlines or marks. I have harshly marked this record down as the record has been roughly cut at the perimeter edge, in line with it's test pressing stage, and moderate grubiness and handling marks on the b-side.
