Description
You are bidding on the following item:
Artist: Ocean Colour Scene
Title: ‘Falling to the floor’
Format: 10” black vinyl one-sided promo
Release number: WMCSV 40133 a
Condition: Outer plain die cut sleeve is at best in very good condition, with no splits, but a minor tear around the opening die cut edge. The sleeve has moderate grubbiness and rubbing, and has the writing ‘OCS 100 Miles Per Hour Mix?’. (This is incorrect – the correct name of the track is ‘Falling to the floor’). I would think it would be easy to get a generic replacement sleeve and immediately upgrade! The record has got a good shine, with minor scuffs, moderate hairlines and minor blemishes, and graded as very good condition. This record is not mint has had been moderately handled. Play grade on my Rega 6 deck was very good with a couple of moderate ‘pops’ only and minor crackle into the lead in and exit of the one track. I will harshly grade very good plus (+) on sonic quality.
Rarity: an incredibly hard release to get and one of a handful of OCS vinyl super-rarities which rarely come up for sale! This is of the EP tracks (track three pf four) included with the release in 1997 for the single ‘Hundred Mile High City’ which was released on MCA most 40133, which featured this track ‘Falling to the floor’, which is effectively a ‘mashed up’ version of the lead single track, and the first single off the album ‘Marchin’ Already’. This is a 10” die-cut one-sided black vinyl promo produced in tiny quantities!
