Description
We've unearthed a second copy of this super cool hippie musical take on Aristophanes - "the Birds" by Bay Area theatre rock ensemble Ofoedian Den. Neat soft psych and and occasional funky group tunes. A lot of fun. With some financial backing this troupe could have taken this show far... Rare private and original pressing on Rock Bottom records. Performed at the College of Marin, CA in May of 197? This LP is on Hans Pokora's list of record collector dreams. AND we are including a photocopy of an 11x14 copy of the original promo poster that was hung around the Bay Area at hip shops prior to the performance. ((We MAY also be able to include a photocopy of the original program - ours has gone missing though, so no guarantees!))
VINYL: VG++ Gorgeous as new shine to vinyl. A VERY few play marks visible. One circular spot on track 4 side. Nothing feelable, makes no sound... Some noise at side run-ins and few soft clicks here and there... Typical private press LP stuff - nothing loud or distracting. Plays great! Surely few have survived in this condition.
COVER: NM Just about perfect!! Image looks awesome, only the lightest age dusting but a fine cover. No writing. No ringwear. Seams and spine are perfect and tight... Corners are lightly bumped, still pretty sharp.
LABEL: M no writing and no marks or signs of wear near spindle hole.
