Description
Original UK pressing lp: THE ROLLING STONES - Their Satanic Majesties Request - the original UK pressing, Decca TXS 103, green labels with "Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound", coated gatefold jacket with lenticular cover art, and original inner sleeve; stamped in the deadwax is, on the A-side: "ZAL-8126-T2-6K" with D 11 stamped at the 2 o'clock position, KT at 11:30 and 1 at 8 o'clock; B-side has "ZAL-8127-T2-5K" with KA at 3 o'clock, KT at 12 and 1 at 9 o'clock (not sure how much those "clock position" numbers matter); released in 1967.
Condition is VG+/VG / VG+ (vinyl still has some gloss, A-side has minor scuffing and several soft surface scratches that I can't feel; B-side has the same but a bit heavier plus one 1/4" scratch that I can barely feel that causes a few minor ticks; overall plays VG+ with some areas of minor background; both labels have messy ink writing; inner sleeve has minor corner creases, no splits, several tiny tears at slip edge; jacket has a corner missing from the 3-d square, several wrinkles, minor rubbing to extremities, part of old price sticker to corner, clean spine, small corner wrinkles to back cover, and clean gatefold).
(Vintage Vinyl, Records, Album, 33 rpm, Music, Rock, Blues, Psych, 1960's, Memorabilia, Collectible)
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: All items are very well-packed for shipment and always include tracking numbers. Non-media items have the shipping cost noted in the auction, but we offer FREE SHIPPING TO U.S. CUSTOMERS ON ALL MEDIA ITEMS (AND SOMETIMES NON-MEDIA ITEMS) - that means that the item price includes your shipping costs - this free shipping applies to books & magazines (price includes $3-$5 media mail shipping), postcards, photos, booklets & pamphlets (price includes $1.50-$3, 1st class or media mail shipping), record albums (7"s/45s include $3.00 1st class shipping; 10" and LPs include $3-$5 media mail shipping), cassettes, reel tapes, and CDs (includes $2 to $4, 1st class or mm).
REGARDING IMAGE QUALITY: Some of our older listings have images of poor quality; a few months ago Ebay changed their image size policies, and I was forced to automatically enlarge the images for all of last years' remaining items, which caused them to be grainy and blurry.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - WE SHIP WORLDWIDE - please contact me prior to bidding so I can determine Airmail shipping rates for you.
WE NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOS - all images are of actual items. WE ALMOST ALWAYS USE MULTIPLE IMAGES. We grade all items conservatively, and when grading record albums we follow the Goldmine Record Guide. Please see our other Ebay auctions for many used, odd, rare and collectible books and records, paper & ephemera, and more. Thank you!
