Description
Small Faces classic 1968 version on lilac/pink Immediate label. Features Stan the Man Unwin as narrator on the psychedelic fairy story which is side 2. Housed in the original round sleeve. I have kept the record in a separately bought square inner sleeve since I purchased it new from the Army and Navy stores(!) in London at the end of the sixties. It doesn't look aesthetic but has preserved its condition all these years and is better than the shop's/manufacturer's option of no inner sleeve. The outer sleeve is in fair condition and shows a small amount of wear and tear (the five fold out cardboard discs are still joined together but are separated on the fold between Ronnie Lane and Kenny Jones, and there is a 6mm tear on the front to the south west of "Special") I don't like to open it up to check for any other wear (did it once-and carefullyto take the pictures) but I have always kept it in a plastic outer sleeve and so I am confident that any other wear is normal considering its age and moderate use. There are spindle marks on the label and I would describe the playing surface as good. It has been played but has been treated with the care it deserves for the fine music it contains.
