Description

This is a self-titled first album  "Old And In The Way"  vinyl LP with a Sugar House label SH-3746.  It is a blending of various artists, styles, and musical backgrounds.  Eight microphones were used in the live recording at The Boarding House in San Francisco on October 8, 1973.  The Grateful Dead legend Jerry Garcia was vocals and a talented banjo player, Vassar Clemmens is incredible on fiddle and violin, Peter Rowan vocals and guitar, and David Grisman is probably one of the best Mandolin players of all time.  For many years  'Old And In The Way'  was the top selling bluegrass album of all time, until that title was taken by the soundtrack album for  'O Brother, Where Art Thou'.  The vinyl is in very good+  to excellent condition.  The cover is in very good+  to excellent condition.  Thank you for looking.
