Old Town 1000 - The Solitaires "Blue Valentine"/"I Wonder Why" - Need we say more -Click to hear it After the Mello Moods broke up and also the Vocaleers on Red Robin broke up Herman Dunham left the Vocaleers and joined the solitaires, they set the bar for vocal group singing especially on this, you can still feel the Mello Moods sound on blue valentine, Dunham does such a amazing job on lead it's almost embarrassing, when you play this you have to have absolute silence, if you have a tube amp it will help, the Murray Hill L.P. does a nice job on the transfers. Both sides are killers, this really is not doo woop. very mature sound, very serious. not rock n roll, there is a small sound clip of the b side that doesn't give it justice.
