Description
Now almost deaf, dedicated jazz fan/audiophile offers from my record library of some 1000 items, Oliver Nelson ‘BLUES AND THE ABSTRACT TRUTH’ impulse A-5 LP, “Stolen Moments” track, Bill Evans, Eric Dolphy on flute, Freddie Hubbard & others; Rudy Van Gelder, Recording Engineer. Gatefold jacket minimal shelf wear, sleeve tight. Vinyl LP in excellent condition, from new affectionately cared for, always stored vertically inside my smoke free homes, and carefully handled, thumb to edge, fingers on label. Typical of that era’s vinyl records, when played ‘clicks/pops’, ‘hiss’ may be audible (the best pressings, even new). Record has not been played in years, then sparingly on quality turntables with tone arms and cartridges. Release Date: Approx. 1960’s
Condition note, Jacket: The shiny vinyl is delaminating from jacket back at fold. Who knew? Until this listing, the seller never noticed the ‘mark out’ next to the A-5 in the impulse! white dot, upper right front. Monaural? You decide; no misrepresentation from here!
Not the mainstream Jazz vinyl LP, CD or cassette you’re looking for? My entire collection is for sale, all in great condition. Is there a specific item? I may have it listed now on ebay or in the future (requests accepted). Please click on ‘See other items’ under Seller information at right of this item for more.
