Olivia Tremor Control US Remastered Reissue 2LP Black Foliage NM 2011 Neo Psyche
US Reissue Remastered 2LP released in 2011 on Chuncklet Records. Cat: CHKLP007. Comes in thick gatefold sleeve. Has printed insert in Near Mint condition. Has original Hype sticker from original shrink wrap. Also has download card but would assume it has already been claimed.If the preceding Dusk at Cubist Castle was the Olivia Tremor Control's very own White Album, then the labyrinthine Black Foliage is their SMiLE it's an imploding masterpiece, a work teetering on the cliff's edge between genius and madness. Torn at the seams between pop transcendence and noise radicalism, the group attempts to have it both ways, meaning teenage symphonies to God like "A New Day" rest uneasily alongside musique concrète-styled tape pastiches such as "Combinations" (which, along with the similarly styled, multi-part title track, is one of the many sonic motifs snaking its way throughout the record).

There are no signs of spindle marks on labels. Records are in Near MInt condition. Thick heavyweight gatefold cover has a few tiny surface tears around edges and is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
