Olympus OM Fit - Sigma 1:2.8 f=28mm Mini-Wide Macro, Multi Coated Prime Lens
Made in Japan
Serial No: 1167447
Sigma
World's largest independent lens manufacturer and is a family-owned
business. The company was founded in 1961 by Michihiro Yamaki
During the late 1960s, Sigma offered both single coated and multi-coated optics on
some lenses at a modest premium. If you are buying a Sigma lens of this vintage
it is recommended that you get the multi-coated or MC versions
Lens condition
Barrel and markings all bright and undamaged
Optics are clear and scratch and fungus free
Apertures are still snappy and operating correctly - from F2.8
to F22 with half stops
Focussing is smooth and positive
Performance
This is a seriously good lens and is really great for close-up shots
Close focusing matters a lot to both serious amateurs and professional
photographers. One of the characteristics of a high quality lens design
is a short close-focusing distance
I have used this lens with a DSLR and focused a lot closer than
the 0.75ft it was designed for with stunning results
Lens will be sent with protective filter and end cap
