Description

I will be listing more scarce records relating to the Space Race, Atomic Age, Rockets & Robots, and other sci-fi and sci-fact genre.  This is a dual offering: the LP featuring the "love theme" from the 1959 issued nuclear apocalypse film "On the Beach" which starred Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Anthony Perkins and Fred Astaire.  Everyone dies!!!!  A warning about the potential disasters of nuclear energy.  The conductor, Frank Chacksfield, had a #47 hit with the love theme in 1960, howeve the film's big splash was introducing audience to "Waltzing Matilda" which went viral.  I regret i may have to "fold" the movie poster to send with the album.Winner pays $4 media mail postage in the USA.
