One of the rarest UK major label issues from the prog/psych era, this was pressed in 1978 by the President label as some kind of tax loss scam, with no distribution and entirely fictitious notes on the back sleeve about a non-existent Anglo-American band. In fact the album was assembled from various projects that had been overseen in London by a couple of IBC Studios engineers during the late 1960s and early 1970s, and includes three tracks (‘Fall Out’, ‘Reason Why’ and ‘Lay Me Down’) from the legendary unreleased 1969-70 album by the mighty Five Day Rain.
The album has been reissued on both CD and vinyl in recent years, but this is an ultra-scarce original 1978 vinyl pressing.
Bought new by me about 20 years ago directly from President Records and played only once.
