Description
This record was put out by Pathe records (famous French record label, this record was pressed in India) for Cathay Pacific airlines. It was a souvenir for travelers that featured music from 10 Asian countries that the airlines serviced at the time (check the pics for the countries!). The music is really authentic and from recordings from those countries. There is a narrator who speaks in between some tracks as an introduction - quite cool. I'm a record dealer but figure this is of more interest to a Cathay Pacific collectors. Doesn't have any copyright dates, I'd put it at around late 50's/early 60's judging from the record label, fonts, etc.
I've dug around and haven't seen it sold before so I don't really know the value, just taking a ball park estimate from what similar CP items sell for. If you have any question ask away.
