This is a very rare original 10" U.S. 78 rpm from 1910 on gold and black CLIMAX DOUBLE DISK label #K12, side one is COTTONFIELD CAPERS Band , side two DIXIE Band both sides feature some of the very earliest jumpin jazz tunes, with side one also incorporating what sounds like either fancy knee slapping or tap dancing, my wife says they are putting on a show and someone is tap dancing. The orchestra features instruments that you would find in a New Orleans type band like big bass drum, snare, cymbals, trumpet, tuba, trombone, etc. The other side sounds a bit like that tune called: AWAY DOWN SOUTH IN DIXIE . Labels are in very good condition, record is still glossy with only light scuffs and a very small chip on outside edge of one side, NO warps, cracks, chips or dulling groove wear, both sides sound very good.
