An awesome vintage jazz and blues cardboard show poster from 1955. It features some of the greatest names of the time. The Drifters, Laverne Baker, Jimmy Reed and Roy Hamilton are the artists that make up "The Biggest Rhythm & Blues Show of '55". Plus, jazz great Erskine Hawkins and his orchestra were also on the bill! Anyone interested in jazz or blues records would find this concert poster appealing. Also, a great piece of Black American memorabilia. This  R & B poster was printed by the world famous Globe Poster Co. from Baltimore, Maryland. This 22" X 28" heavy cardboard poster is in nice condition. There is a small piece missing on the bottom edge, as well as two tears in the same right corner area. The concert & dance was held at the Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga.
