Description
Real rarity on offer. One off early 1960s (possibly up to 1964) acetate recorded by the Eroica Studios in Cheshire (Altrincham) with the group Jerry & the Unit Five. Double sided with tracks "Why Did You Go?" and "Come Here Baby" both original numbers.
Not been able to find much detail but it seems that Eroica were a very professional studio and had their own label on which some commercial albums were pressesd. The group is hard to find anything about but clearly part of the Cheshire (Manchester/Liverpool) scene in the early 1960s. Tracks sound very competent early UK beat style. Not really advanced in the sense of the Beatles but on par with other Liverpool/Manchester groups of that era (say 1962-4)
Vinyl is excellent at least. Light handling marks and some light crackle but really nice copy. Cover some light marks and but VG to EX.
Really nice condition for really rare item and impossible to find. Lovely for the true collector. Cheap start price!
Interantional sales through Ebay GSP only. They give both buyer and seller protection but costs are higher and are not combined. If you do not like costs please do not bid as they are fixed by Ebay and I cannot negotiate or discount. Once you have bid you will have to pay them as Ebay deal with all invoicing and will chase unpaid bids. Thank you.
