Description
Here is a RARE original MONO album by The Beatles from my collection offered up for sale: This is a 1967 1st pressing album "Magical Mystery Tour" released by Capitol records MAL-2835 Mono, has the 1967 style black with colorband labels. Original MONO pressings are becoming VERY hard to find, overall this album is still in excellent condition! Different sound mix than the more commonly found STEREO version. The record grades strong VG+, close to EX, is super clean and glossy, has some faint sleeve marks & a few small light needle marks. PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, clear sound with some light surface noise in some quiet spots and between tracks, no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The vintage gatefold jacket rates EX, has deep bright colors with no ring wear, top seam has a few small scrapes and a couple of partial splits have been neatly glued (barely noticeable), no tape, binder edge EX and readable, no signatures, inside gatefold clean! The custom booklet's has the heavy center pages that are intact but have become detached at the staples from the cover (very common problem with this pressing, no pages missing) super clean and bright, no stains, no writing, looks minimally handled! (see all photos) Still has vintage white paper inner sleeve, clean.
Will be shipped in protective plastic outer sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
