This is a very rare original ' 56 U.S. 45 on white promo EARL Label #101 tunes are: DOLORES & I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT LOVE. by THE BACHELORS. Etched in trail off is E-102, other side E-106. If you search for the best hard to find doo wop 45s you must consider adding this little gem to your collection. When records like this make themselves available you should take advantage. Both sides feature beautiful lead and harmony vocals. The music is fantastic, tunes are uptempo with dynamite piano, bass, drums and cowbell. The vocals will impress even the most ardent doo wop collector for sure. A real joy to listen to. I was born in ' 51, when I was about 13, I lived in Bergenfield and remember accapella groups practicing along Washington Avenue in the vestibules of storefronts along the strip.Those were times I enjoy looking back on. This 45 is in nice condition. Labels are clean except for a small black marker line on each. and the name DOM in pen. NO stains, stickers, tears, etc, print is dark and clear. Playing surfaces have a nice glossy shine with NO dulling groove wear, defects, warps, scratches, etc. Under bright light I noticed some light surface scuffing on both sides, it does not affect play, I played each side, they sounded crystal clear and dynamic with NO skips, background noise, distortion, etc.A great find in this CONDITION: VG+++.
