This is a nice example of an early stereo RCA audiophile U.S. lp on the RCA VICTOR Shady Dog Label #LSC-2292, it is an early 1s/3s pressing with A2 / B3 also stamped in trail off. The title is THE FRENCH TOUCH, it features BOSTON SYMPH ORCH with CHARLES MUNCH. These early stereo gems are deep groove pressings on thick vinyl. They sound wonderful and will last forever. The performances on this lp have gorgeous string tone, some consider it the finest string sound to come out of Boston-or just about anywhere. The Saucer's Apprentice is magical, it is hardly played and in wonderful condition, labels and vinyl are brilliant, labels have No spindle marks, fading, stickers, writing, etc. Playing surfaces have a deep glossy shine with only 1 small light surface scuff on one side that does not affect play. I listened to a few excerpts from each side with a sensitive cartridge and a good quality stereo, they sounded clean and clear with No distortion, or annoying background noise. Quiet passages were quiet. just occasionally I heard a few very soft background ticks. However, I did not clean it, but I strongly recommend it be cleaned on a good quality record cleaning machine before serious listening. The cover is thick cardboard with vibrant color and graphics on front and extensive notes on back, it has No seam or spine splits, cut outs, bent corners, stickers or writing, does have light wear and browning with a small concentration of browning at bottom seam. This lp also comes with its original grey thick paper RCA inner sleeve in nice condition. Glad I could make this beautiful audiophile lp available, they are getting harder to find especially in this great CONDITION: COVER VG+ / LP NM - . Your satisfaction is guaranteed, bid with confidence. Buyer pays actual shipping cost, Plus $1 for lp mailer box.
