Description
This is an original '68 U.S. 2 Lp set on sliced and unsliced APPLE label #SWBO-101, called: THE BEATLES, both labels have white subsidiary perimeter print, in trail off is AIM triangle stamped, etched is SWBO 1-J58 #10 .,SWBO 2-J45 #4, SWBO 3-J47 #2, SWBO 4-J44 (II) #3 . Cover is plain white gatefold with The Beatles embossed on the front, and A2053584 stamped in black, bottom right corner, inside has photos and song titles. Spine is strong with very good print, it closes even and is not flattened. also no bent corners, stains, writing, etc. does have some ring wear and browning all around. and top right corner seam splits, bottom seam is worn, and has ever so slight tiny pushed in bottom right corner. the 4 glossy photos are in beautiful condition, No folds, tears, stains fading, tac holes, etc. I only saw a hardly noticeable tiny ripple top center of each one. Both lps are very glossy, no groove wear, Under close inspection I noticed a handful of light surface scuffs, that do not affect play. on one side there is a very small surface scratch, that does not affect play, I played an excerpt from every trac, they sounded clean, clear, and undistorted, with no annoying background noise. I heard only a few soft background ticks, CONDITION: Cover VG + / Lps VG + / Photos VG + + .
