Description
This is a thick, heavy U.S. first pressing black and silver VERVE Label lp #V6-8741, called: LUMPY GRAVY part 1 & part 2 by FRANK ZAPPA. In trailoff is V6-8741 SIDE ONE MGS-1068-1, other side, V6-8741 SIDE TWO MGS-1069-1. Each side also has 2 small stampings that are hard to make out. Labels are very clean with only one faint spindle trail on each, also on one label is a very hard to see name in pencil. Vinyl is hardly used and has a deep glossy shine with NO groove wear, scratches, defects, warps, stains, etc. At first glance both sides look near mint, but under close inspection I noticed a small handful of light surface scuffs that do not affect play. Looks and sounds gorgeous. Cover is thick heavy gatefold that closes even, does have tons of wear everywhere. Seams are also splitting, NO cut outs, bent corners, or stains, this is a very tough lp to find in such terrific CONDITION: COVER VG / LP NM - - - .
