Description
This is another one of those very hard to find original psych gems in the best condition. It is a thick, rigid vinyl U.S. lp with black rainbow CAPITOL labels #ST-121. And is an original from 1969. In small perimeter print is MFD BY CAPITOL RECORDS INC A SUBSIDIARY OF CAPITOL INDUSTRIES INC. etc, etc. Stamped in trail off is a triangle, there are letters inside of the triangle as well. And it is stamped on both sides of the lp. On the back cover is the same Subsidiary print as the label. Also on the back cover near the RIAA logo is the number 11. There are 10 tunes, GOLDEN EARRINGS / HANG ON TO A DREAM / NEVER TOO FAR / SCARLET RIBBONS / YOU UPSET THE GRACE OF LIVING / CAN YOU TRAVEL IN THE DARK ALONE / NATURE BOY / TIFFANY RINGS / ME ABOUT YOU / I WATCH THE MOON. Cover is in great condition with only very mild wear, and looks better in person, colors are darker than they appear in photo, and the front is yellow, may look greenish in my photo. There are NO seam or spine splits, bent or pushed in corners, ring wear, drill holes, punch holes, cut corners, saw cuts, writing, stains, etc. The lp may have never been played, and is gorgeous. Labels have NO spindle marks, wear, etc. They are like new. Vinyl has a deep gloss shine with NO scratches, scuffs, groove wear, defects, warps, mold, sleeve stains, etc. And only under close inspection do you see a tiny light surface mark from the manufacture that does not affect play. I played a few excerpts, they sounded crystal clear, with an extremely quiet background. A rare find in this CONDITION: COVER NM - - / LP NM.
