Description
This is an original '74 rare first pressing of the psychedelic funk U.S. lp by FUNKADELIC called: STANDING ON THE VERGE OF GETTING IT ON. It is on the WESTBOUND Label #WB-1001, there are 7 tracks, (see close up pics ). Comes in a gatefold cover with far out cosmic graphics and art inside and out. Cover closes even and is not flattened. only has very mild wear, one tiny top right cut corner, and slightly worn left corners, seams and spine are strong with no splits or flaking, spine print very good, one corner just ever so slightly pushed in, Also no fading, stains, stickers, writing, bent corners, etc. Lp has near pristine labels and vinyl , under very close inspection I noticed a faint spindle trail on each label, No spindle hole wear, fading, spindle marks, etc. Vinyl has a deep gloss shine and hardly played NO scratches, groove wear, defects, warps, sleeve stains, etc. I noticed only a very small handful of very light surface scuffs that do not affect play, I played excerpts from each side, they sounded clean, clear, dynamic and undistorted with no annoying background noise. I heard only a few very faint background ticks on one side . About 2 months ago I went through my inventory to find 2 of this same original lp that I'd been storing for years. I decided its time to make them available, so I posted one on Ebay about a month ago, a lucky collector acquired it to add to his collection, I am now making available the second one so Good luck, the lp is in wonderful CONDITION: Cover VG + + / Lp NM - - .
