This original '76 U.S. Lp is getting harder to find and is very sought after these days. It is on MERCURY label #SRM 1-1090, Self titled called: THE RUNAWAYS, anyone interested in this lp surely knows who these talented teenagers are. No need to list their names. The lp comes in a nice gatefold cover with great photos, graphics and notes. also comes with lyric photo insert and the original Mercury inner sleeve. stamped in trail off is MASTERDISK with G.K. etched, matrix numbers are etched followed by A CP3 other side B CP3. Labels are near pristine, with only one faint spindle trail on each side. Vinyl has a nice glossy shine with No dulling groove wear, defects, warps, bad sleeve stains, or scratches, one side has a long surface fingernail scuff, other side also has a light surface scuff, No scratches you can feel. I played a short excerpt from every tune, they sounded clean, clear and dynamic, with no distortion, skips , or annoying background noise. Cover has light ring wear, front and back and seams and spine wear, spine print is very good, inside is near perfect, with just a very slight hint of wear, also no cut corners, punch holes, saw cuts, seam or spine splits, stickers, writing or stains, insert only has one long faint fold, small stain on one side, and some very minor ripples. No tears, ring wear, folded corners, fading, etc. Merc inner sleeve is near perfect, No splits, tears, etc. CONDITION: Cover VG + + / Lp VG + + + / Insert VG + + . This lp is hardly played, your satisfaction is guaranteed.
