IKE QUEBEC: "IT MIGHT AS WELL BE SPRING" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #4105. Scarce vintage jazz Lp! Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels. "EAR" symbol etched and 'VAN GELDER' stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Ike Quebec/tenor sax; Freddie Roach/organ; Milt Hinton/bass; Al Harewood/drums. The thick laminated cover is in VG++ shape & displays nicely. No seam splits, no cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23. The vinyl is in VG to VG- condition, very glossy in spite of some visible wear & scratches. Not a high-grade copy of this artifact, but amazingly hard to find in any condition. The songs are: It Might As Well Be Spring; A Light Reprieve; Easy-Don't Hurt; Lover Man; Ol' Man River; Willow Weep For Me.
