This is an original mono pressing of the jazz LP:  OLIVER NELSON "THE BLUES AND THE ABSTRACT TRUTH" (Impulse / A-5).

Featuring:  Oliver Nelson, Paul Chambers, Eric Dolphy, Bill Evans, Roy Haynes and Freddie Hubbard. 

Record is glossy with a few light marks that cannot be felt - one mark on side 1 can be lightly felt across tracks 1 and 2 but does not seem to affect play.  Plays and sounds great with only a light background crackle at times that does not overpower music.

Gatefold cover is in overall excellent condition - some laminate peeling on back cover - no split seams - no writing - strong spine - no ring wear.
