Occasionally a rare original blues lp will surface in beautiful condition, making itself available to collectors. It gives me pleasure to offer this thick, heavy, rigid vinyl original 50s lp, on the white and blue RIVERSIDE label #RLP-12-644. Called: SONNY TERRY & HIS MOUTH HARP. Also features ALEC STEWART on guitar. There are 14 tunes: IN THE EVENING / KANSAS CITY / THE FOX CHASE / LOUISE BLUES / I WOKE UP THIS MORNING / OLD WOMAN BLUES / TALKING ABOUT THE BLUES / MOANIN & MOURNING / BABY BABY / CHAIN THE LOCK ON MY DOOR / CUSTARD PIE / GOODBYE LEADBELLY / RED RIVER / IN THE EVENING / JOHN HENRY. Was recorded Dec 1953 in New York City. U.S. & G. B. patents are stamped in the trail off of both sides of the lp. Labels and playing surfaces are pristine and look brand new. Labels have NO spindle marks, etc. Playing surfaces have NO scratches, scuffs, groove wear, defects, mold, etc. The cover is made of thick cardboard and has a shiny lamination on front, it has only very mild wear. NO seam or spine splits, bent or pushed in corners, cut outs, stickers, writing, fading, etc. Spine is strong and clean with perfect print. both seams also strong and clean, all three have NO flaking, wear, etc. CONDITION: COVER NM - - / LP NM+.
