This is an original '56 thick, heavy, vinyl deep groove U.S. lp on red and black GEE label #701. Called: THE TEENAGERS featuring FRANKIE LYMON. There are 12 terrific R&B doo wop tunes: BABY BABY, PLEASE BE MINE, LOVE IS A CLOWN, WHO CAN EXPLAIN, I PROMISE TO REMEMBER, ABC'S OF LOVE , I'M NOT A KNOW IT ALL / etc. Cover is made of thick cardboard with a nice shiny laminated color photo on front, has some wear, and browning, NO cut outs, bent corners, seam or spine splits, except for a very tiny center split on bottom. Lp has very clean like new labels and glossy playing surfaces with NO groove wear, defects, or scratches you can feel, each side has a handful of light scuffs, I played excerpts from every tune,they sounded clean and clear with a surprisingly quiet background, I heard only a light background ticking here and there.
